Best of the Best Scholarship Program

The law firm of Cohen & Feeley, in recognition of outstanding senior high school students, established the Best of the Best Program in 1994.

Applications are distributed to the guidance counselors of the various local area high schools in September of each year. The selection criteria includes academic achievement, extra curricular activities, community service and any adverse obstacles which a student may have overcome.

One student is selected from each of the twenty-seven area high schools. The choice is made by a committee within the law firm of Cohen & Feeley who review all of the above criteria. Recipients of the awards also choose a charity of their choice which receives a donation in their name.

In May recipients of the awards, along with their parents or guardians are guests of the law firm at a breakfast award ceremony. Two students are then chosen as the Best of the Best and receive an additional scholarship award. All the other students also receive a scholarship award and a certificate.

Team Capital Bank partners with Cohen & Feeley in this program. Team Capital Bank is a local community bank with branches in Bethlehem, Doylestown, Pennsylvania. They also have branches in Phillipsburg and Flemington, New Jersey. In honor of their participation in the program a community service scholarship award has been added. The student who best exemplifies community commitment through community service involvement will receive this award at the annual breakfast ceremony.
