Investigation continues in potential dangerous baby food products

Last week Wal-Mart and other retailers pulled Enfamil baby formula from their shelves after federal investigators started their investigation into whether a defective product is the cause of a deadly bacterial infection that killed one infant and made another sick.

Women awarded $72.6 million in pharmaceutical case

Three Pennsylvania women were awarded a total of $72.6 million by a jury earlier this month for compensatory damages due to dangerous pharmaceuticals. The three women claim hormone replacement therapy drugs manufactured by Pfizer contributed to their development of breast cancer after years of taking the drugs.

Lehigh County fatal accident involves multiple vehicles

Lehigh Valley was the sight of a fatal accident involving multiple vehicles on Monday night. The accident, which occurred in North Whitehall Township, resulted in the death of one man and a trip to the hospital for several others.

Elderly woman causes near-fatal accident in Pennsylvania

Recently we wrote about a car crash in Allentown, Pennsylvania, that ended up involving a house being run into. That accident has now been eclipsed by a near-fatal crash in Maxatawney Township in late November, caused by an 84-year-old woman smashing her car through the window of a new thrift store, which then skidded across the linoleum tiles and struck two girls, ages 1 and a 3 years old.

Near fatal accident injures seven people in Allentown

Earlier in November, a total of seven people were injured at a downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania, intersection, when an SUV and a car collided with one another. Some of those injured suffered severe wounds in what could have easily ended up a fatal accident. Police reported that one of the people injured, a baby, might have suffered a skull fracture.
