What options are available to injured consumers?

Everyday, consumers rely on various products to get through their day. Whether it is a beauty product, an automobile or a technological device, people use these items without considering the possible dangers and risks they could face. When a product is determined to be dangerous or defective, it is often recalled, but this step does not always protect a consumer from injuries.

Snowmobile accidents: What can happen?

As much as some of us hate to admit it, fall is here and that means winter is right around the corner. The cold temperatures and snowfall aren't all bad, though, and they offer recreational activities you can't get during other times of the year without traveling out of Pennsylvania. Snowmobiles are winter's answer to four-wheelers and while snowmobiling is a popular and enjoyable pastime, it also carries its own risk of accidents.

It is important that they understand how to address any issues arising from the fatal incident.

Pennsylvania residents file suit over defective medical devices

Two separate lawsuits have been filed by Pennsylvania residents who claim that they have suffered because of defective medical devices. The defective medical devices were hip replacements that had been recalled over four years ago. Both plaintiffs did see their doctors after receiving news of the recall, but neither was experiencing any difficulty at the time and chose to keep their replacements. They both began having problems several years later.
