Casa Guadalupe

We are proud to announce our new partnership with the Casa Guadalupe Center in Allentown. As part of our new partnership, we will be hosting a FREE legal clinic for all members of the community every Tuesday and Thursday.

Attorneys from our own staff will be available to answer questions about Personal Injury, Auto-Accidents, and Workers' Compensation among other areas of practice. Attorney Michael Renneisen from Lehigh Immigration will also be available during Legal Clinic hours to assist community members with any immigration questions or issues they might have.

¡Sabor! Was a Hit

Everyone had a great time celebrating the Lehigh Valley's Latino culture at the ¡Sabor! Festival at Steel Stacks June 23 - 25, 2017. It was a weekend filled with great music, food, and family fun - you might have even seen our staff trying out their dance moves!

Northeast Middle School Jr. Police Academy

The Junior Police Academy Program at Northeast Middle School was held June 19 - 23, 2017! What an awesome summer program for middle school youth to learn about law enforcement, while having fun!!

Attorney Jason Schiffer discussed Civil Law. Great programs like this would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the School Resource Police Officers that oversee it!!

The 2017 Women's Business Summit, held on June 7th at Cedar Crest College, was a great day filled with strong and independent women who encourage eachother to strive for greatness. Welcome to Lorna Velazquez

lornaWe are excited to announce that Lorna Velazquez has joined our team as the bilingual Community Outreach Coordinator!

She will represent the firm at community events, work with business and community leaders to develop and maintain existing relationships, create a community educational seminar program as well as assist with new client development.

Lorna has lived in what she calls paradise, Bethlehem, for the past 21 years, is a veteran of the US Army, and spent the vast majority of her career working in the social services field. She uses her life experiences as the catalyst for being a model of how a person can overcome obstacles; contribute to their community and work hard to be at their best.

We are so honored to have Lorna on staff and we hope you'll reach out to her to say, "Hello!" and introduce yourself.

Best of the Best Celebrated 20 Years

On May 17, 2015 Cohen,Feeley, Altemose & Rambo held their annual Best of the Best scholarship award ceremony at Blue Event Center in Bethlehem, PA. Honoring senior high school students in the Lehigh Valley as well as Hunterdon and Warren Counties in New Jersey, the program recognizes students who stand out in their schools and communities.

Now, in its 20th year, the program is one of the longest running scholarship programs in the Lehigh Valley. This year, thanks to amazing sponsors, the firm was able to increase the amount of each student's scholarship. Thirty-nine outstanding high school seniors were honored at the breakfast and the Dean of Temple Law School, JoAnne A. Epps, gave an exceptional speech to all attendees. The morning was truly inspirational as the "Best of the Best" winners were announced.

The overall Best of the Best winners are as followed: Connor Mellett, Easton High School; Hannah Kim, Parkland High School; Jared Bogdan, South Hunterdon Regional and Adesola Sanusi, Warren Hills High School. In the fall, Connor will be attending the U.S. Naval Academy, Hannah will be attending the University of Pennsylvania, Jared will be attending the United States Air Force Academy and Adesola will be attending Harvard University.

Team Capital Bank also awarded Abby Rose Frankenfield, Liberty High School and Bridget Winay, North Warren Regional, with the Community Service awards for their outstanding commitment to giving back.

In the fall, Abby will be attending North Carolina State University and Bridget will be attending Ursinus College.

Congratulations to all of our chosen recipients!


Martin D. Cohen Foundation Recognized

On June 2, 2014 our very own Martin D. Cohen was honored in the Lehigh Valley Business Journal for his outstanding charity work throughout the Lehigh Valley. Super Lawyers

Partners Martin D. Cohen, Dennis F. Feeley, Mark Altemose and Kelly Rambo Williams have all been named 2014 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. The selection to become a Super Lawyer is based on peer nominations and evaluations as well as independent research. The process includes rating service on outstanding lawyers from over 70 practice areas.

The partners are featured in the Super Lawyers Magazine, which is distributed to attorneys in the state and the ABA-accredited libraries. The magazine has 13 million readers in the United States and has now spread to England.

An Honoring Moment

During the Best of the Best breakfast, the firm took a few minutes to honor Mrs. Deane Love Feeley, wife of partner Dennis Feeley, for her dedication and hard work to the program over the last 20 years. Mrs. Feeley was instrumental in forming and running the program since it began in 1994 and has been the Executive Director for the last 14 years. Her passion for the students and parents is hard to find and doesn't goes unnoticed year after year.


Dennis Feeley Received the Distinguished Pennsylvania Association for Justice Milton D. Rosenberg Award

On June 30 th, Dennis Feeley was presented by the Pennsylvania Association for Justice with the Milton D. Rosenberg Award. The award is given annually at the associations convention in Hershey to a trial lawyer whose devotion to injured victims, qualities of leadership, and service to the organization best represent the life of the late and revered past Pennsylvania Association for Justice president after whom the award is named. It is a well deserved honor for a man who has dedicated his life for the past 30 years to fighting for the rights of injured victims.

At the awards dinner, Feeley said the following during his speech:

"It is my great pleasure in life not only to be a trial lawyer, but to have an opportunity to do what this organization does best, and that is protect the little guy. That's what we do best, we look out for the little guy, and we do whatever we have to do. We throw ourselves on the line day in and day out and that is what this organization has done so successfully over the years and I am so proud to be a part of that."


"Salute to Heroes" Helped to Raise $5,000 for Local Veteran Organizations in 2012

On Saturday, May 19 th, Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo along with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks hosted the " Salute to Heroes" game to honor local veterans and military families. Game day events included an autograph signing by former major league baseball players, 50-50 raffle, silent auction and much more! All proceeds from the game day events and pregame events benefited the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council and other local military organizations. Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo thanks all of the sponsors and patrons who joined us for the tribute game. Because of the great turnout, we were able to raise $5,000 to help the brave veterans in our area.


Twenty-Eight Area Students Awarded at the 2012 Best of the Best Awards Ceremony

Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo along with Team Capital Bank honored 28 area students at the Annual Best of the Best Scholarship Award Ceremony on Saturday, May 12 th, at the Best Western, Bethlehem.

The Best of the Best program recognizes one student from each of the 27 high schools in the Lehigh Valley, who excels at home, at school, and in the community. Of all 27 recipients, one male and one female student is named "The Best of the Best" and awarded a high level scholarship. In addition, one student is selected to receive the "Team Capital Bank Community Service Award".

This year, Zachary Panto of Catasauqua High School and Alexa Curto of Freedom High School were honored as the "Best of the Best". The "Team Capital Bank Community Service Award" was awarded to Christian Giovaninni, from Pius X High School.

Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo co-sponsored Healing Works "Sexual Abuse Poetry Night"

The poetry night was held on Thursday, April 21st. This event invited survivors of sexual abuse and their friends/family for coffee, music and poetry. Attendees brought a poem or two to share, all who read a poem were given a "swag bag." The event benefited the PA Coalition Against Rape.

Dennis spoke on the topic of "know your auto insurance coverage". He also entertained questions on various legal topics. Refreshments were served and a lively discussion ensued. Dennis looks forward to his next visit and said, "Our lawyers are all experienced speakers who enjoy sharing their legal knowledge on many different topics".

Dennis Feeley was published in the Personal Injury Supplement of the Legal Intelligencer.

The topic for his article addresses issues surrounding the evolving world of social media. The article reviews the current state of the law as it applies to First Amendment concerns.
