Lehigh County fatal accident involves multiple vehicles

Lehigh Valley was the sight of a fatal accident involving multiple vehicles on Monday night. The accident, which occurred in North Whitehall Township, resulted in the death of one man and a trip to the hospital for several others.

Because so many vehicles were involved in the fatal accident, the highway was closed for some time while police worked to search cars for victims. One car caught fire, and a 42-year-old occupant was pronounced dead at the scene. Another car driven by a 24-year-old Pennsylvania woman was destroyed, and she and her passengers were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

No reports have as yet been made as to the cause of the fatal accident. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision, though one fact is clear: A man died in the accident.

As far too many Pennsylvania families know, losing a loved one in a sudden and unexpected car accident is devastating. While we do not have any information about who this man is, it is not far-fetched to think that he may be leaving behind a family of his own, perhaps including children.

Facing a sudden death like this one can be overwhelming. Not only do you have to cope with losing a loved one, family members are also expected to make funeral arrangements and find a way to live without him or her. While no amount of money could ever replace a loved one, if someone else's negligence caused your loved one's death, it may be possible to obtain compensation that can help cover funeral expenses. Doing so could allow you and your family to focus on what is most important: helping each other through this difficult time.
