Pfizer named in product liability suit filed in Pennsylvania

A product liability lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania against the pharmaceutical company Pfizer for manufacturing and selling a dangerous drug, or so it is in the eyes of the plaintiff. A drug she was taking for one physical condition allegedly caused a medical illness with which she will have to live the rest of her life. A report did not specify the amount of money for which the plaintiff is asking in her product liability suit, but it will be enough to cover past and future medical and legal costs.

Wrongful death suit against Pennsylvania racetrack and casino

A Pennsylvania racetrack and casino will be paying a huge sum after judgement in a wrongful death lawsuit. Nearly $8 million was awarded to the surviving widow of a horse jockey in the wrongful death suit. The decision was returned by a jury after a trial that lasted just under two weeks.

A product liability suit has been filed by a Pennsylvania man after he suffered the amputation of three fingers while he was working at his job as a metal worker. The product liability suit is being filed against Tennsmith Inc., the company that manufactures and sells the metal shearer said to have been responsible for his injury. His job requires that he use the machine.
