Celebrating the Month of the Military Family

Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo celebrates the month of the military family

Each November, the Nation unites to honor its veterans as a way of acknowledging their collective service and sacrifice. But behind many service members are families who also make regular sacrifices, many of which go unseen.

Not everyone in a military family wears a uniform, but they all know what it means to serve. They support their service members through overseas deployments, long training exercises, and frequent moves. They also bear the hardship that comes with the risks of military service. In doing so, military families embody the ideals of honor, patriotism, and selfless service.

Each November is designated as the Month of the Military Family, which is intended to honor the spouses, children, and other family members who work so hard to support their service members. Service members could not effectively do their jobs without the tireless commitment and contribution of their families, which is something well worth honoring.

Our firm is a proud supporter of our service members and their family members who stand with them each day. If you know a service member, please take some time this month to thank their family members for their hard work supporting our men and women in uniform. Your gratitude and support will undoubtedly mean a great deal to those who do so much behind the scenes to help our military.

You can also get involved in supporting military families in other ways, including through charitable organizations that work to support military families. Here are just a few:
