National Concussion Awareness Day took place on Friday, September 21st, and Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo marked the occasion by volunteering at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Center in Allentown. Good Shepherd’s concussion support group hosted a concussion awareness bake sale, with the goal of raising money to assist with its ongoing mission of helping concussion survivors.
Brownies, cookies, Rice Krispie treats, crumb cake, and many more homemade snacks were donated in support of the sale. Volunteers manned two tables at Good Shepherd to help run the sale. Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo attorneys, including George Berg, Alexis Berg-Townsend, Thomas Harper, and T.J. Schick were among the volunteers who helped sell the treats. The sale brought in around $380 for the concussion support group, which is especially amazing since just about every snack was priced at only a dollar. The event was a great way to not only support Good Shepherd, an organization that touches the lives of so many local residents each day, but to help increase awareness about concussions.
