Can I Be Sued by an Artist for Copyright Infringement

Swiss artist sues GM for copyright infringement.

Is there a case or no case?

Artist, Adrian Faulkner, aka 'Smash 137' sues GM for Copyright Infringement because he claims his street art was used in a Cadillac marketing campaign without his consent.

The location in question is know as the Z Lot, a Detroit parking garage in its central district.

Faulkner claims that GM set a commercial campaign involving the Cadillac around Faulkner's artwork. Faulkner also alleges that the angles used omit his name in the mural and without his permission.
