Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo and the Greater Pocono Chamber Host Workers’ Compensation 101 Seminar

Attorney Alexis Berg-Townsend presented a free educational seminar on the basics of Pennsylvania workers’ compensation laws at East Stroudsburg University on Halloween. Alexis presented alongside Attorney Amy Andrews of Zator Law in Allentown, who represents employers and insurance carriers.

Even though there were no costumes or candy involved, audience members were treated to an engaging discussion of several of the major issues in workers’ compensation cases. Local employers and employees were educated on everything from the responsibilities of reporting a work injury to getting medical care and returning injured employees to work. The seminar was also a truly unique opportunity for the audience to hear from attorneys who work on both sides of workers’ compensation cases.

A big thanks goes out to both the Greater Pocono Chamber and to Zator Law for their collective help in making this a fantastic event. We will be offering this sort of event in the future, so keep an eye on our blog and the firm’s Facebook page for announcements!
