Martin Cohen is the Founding Partner of Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo. He was born in New York, but has spent most of his life in the Lehigh Valley, attending Wilson High School, and graduating from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Accounting. After college, he attended Temple University Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate Degree.

​During his legal career, Martye focused his practice on Personal Injury Litigation. He handled many different types of personal injury cases, resulting in millions of dollars recovered for his clients and their families. In addition to recovering millions for his clients, he was also able to set up trust funds to protect their future. Many of his cases involved brain damaged or disabled children and he made sure the firm would help secure a financial future for them and their family.

​In addition to his personal injury work, Martye has established a successful commercial litigation practice as a result of his business experience, accounting background, and major commercial litigation experience. He has spoken and taught at numerous Bar Associations and various community organizations. He lectured law students in China and Japan for Temple University Law School, taught trial practice at Dickinson Law School, and lectured at local colleges.

He was featured and appeared on the Sunday Today Show concerning juries and was quoted in a book called, The Jury: Trial and Error in the American Courtroom about juries. The author of the book, Stephen Adler, gave Martye the nickname, “Wizard of Odds” because of his strong work ethic and results for his clients. In addition, he and Kelly Rambo-Williams authored an article in the legal issue of a medical journal entitled, “The Legal Field and the Health Care Professional:  Weathering Involvement with a Patient’s Lawsuit”.  They also wrote a book together called, “The Road to Recovery” which was written to educate people who have been injured about the care and services available to them.

Martye is admitted to practice before many courts throughout the country including: Federal, State, and most importantly, the United States Supreme Court. He has handled cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Kentucky, and Florida.

In the past, Martye was Assistant Attorney General, a board member of the PA Trial Lawyers Association, and held various positions with the American Association for Justice. He has been a SuperLawyer for more than 10 years, honored as one of the top 100 Trial Lawyers in PA, and received numerous invitations to honorary societies from both the legal and business communities.​

Martye believes we all have a duty to give back to the communities where we live and work. His family started a charitable foundation to provide grants for organizations helping children, young people, and veterans. He feels that education can make a difference in today’s youth, and his foundation has provided college scholarships to deserving students in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. He has served on the board of many organizations, including, but not limited to, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Boys and Girls Club of Easton, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, and the Northampton Community College Foundation.

His personal dedication to the community has led Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo to be heavily involved in community organizations and the people they serve. Most recently, committing to working with a local veterans group to provide assistance when needed.

Martye is also very active in the business community by investing in local companies and real estate. He was the founder of three successful community banks: Ambassador and Team Capital Banks in the Lehigh Valley and Revere Bank in Maryland.
